QuickBooks 2010 has been out for a few months now.  Each new version brings with it new features and improvements on old features and QuickBooks 2010 is no exception.  Some of the features are as follows:

  • New Document Management Capability – QuickBooks 2010 allows you to electronically paperclip documents to QuickBooks transactions.  For example you could scan and attach a vendor bill to the vendor bill payment in QuickBooks.  You must have a compatible scanner & once you’ve exceeded 100MB of space there is a fee for this service.
  • Add/Edit Multiple List Entries – Multiple list entries may be edited from a single screen as opposed to make global changes one entry at a time.
  • Improved forms customization – It is now easier than ever to customize forms with free professional designs and the opportunity to connect to a community of professional designers.
  • Favorites menu – This new menu allows you to put all of your most used functions in QuickBooks into one menu.
