CoverCares: 75 Days of Service

As a way to celebrate Cover & Rossiter’s 75 years in service, the firm has taken the initiative to partake in 75 days of service. Because the past 75 years wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the local community, the firm felt it only right to give back. The C&R team has chosen Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware and several other local charities that are close to their hearts, and will be spending time volunteering in the community throughout the remainder of 2014.

The team has designated 75 days over the course of the next 6 months to complete these days of service, going out in groups and individually to make a difference in the Wilmington and Middletown communities. In addition, the firm has dedicated the Casual Fridays for a Cause to the Julie Gricol Scholarship Fund at the University of Delaware for accounting students. Casual Fridays for a Cause is a program at Cover & Rossiter where the staff can donate money to a Scholarship each quarter, and in return can wear jeans on Fridays. Cover & Rossiter has pledged $50,000 to the fund, and is hoping this initiative will help to raise much more. If you are interested in contributing to the Scholarship, please visit this website.
