C&R Client Finishes Major Renovation

Congratulations to our client, the Wilmington Public Library, on the completion of an 18-month, $11 million renovation! The Library held a grand re-opening ceremony on Monday, January 13 with Governor Markell officiating. Within the historic 1922 structure now resides a fully modernized facility with a computer lab, job center, free wi-fi access, completely new HVAC and meeting / conference rooms available to the public.

Anyone who has ever been involved with a renovation of a historic building knows how hard that is. Congratulations to Executive Director Larry Manuel, Board President Rod Scott, Architect Joe Carbonell and the construction crew at EDiS. The next time you’re on Rodney Square, please take a few minutes to wander in and tour the facility. Those of you who remember the Library before the renovations will be amazed at the changes.
