Myunghee joined Cover & Rossiter in December 2018. Currently, she is a director in the Tax Department and leads the firm’s Growth Management Consulting initiative. She has 13 years of experience in public accounting. Prior to joining the firm, she was senior manager at Ernst & Young’s Quantitative Services where she specialized in advising her clients with tax planning ideas to reduce their tax liabilities and mitigate risks associated with tax returns.
Myunghee loves what she does! Working with a wide variety of industries including bio science, technology, real estate, industrial tools and household hardware, and the automotive industry, she has provided numerous tax planning ideas and solutions for her clients. In addition, Myunghee provides tax consulting services with respect to various tax incentives and planning ideas, i.e., R&D tax credit, Qualified Business Income Deduction, Section 163(j) interest limitation, change of accounting methods, revenue recognition, foreign derived intangible income, etc.
Myunghee serves on the Board of Directors of the Delaware BioScience Association (DelawareBio). In addition, she is a member of the Delaware Korean American Association’s Board of Directors and is a member of the Audit Committee of the Delaware Symphony Orchestra. Previously, she served as Chair of the Delaware Society of CPAs’ Board of Directors, was a member of the Council of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants., and served on the Board of Directors of the Delaware Symphony Orchestra. She also chaired the 2018 Big IDEas for Your Business Conference, a one-day conference designed to assist small business owners and entrepreneurs.
In 2020, Myunghee was honored as one of Delaware Today Magazine’s 2020 Women in Business. This annual event recognizes women in business who demonstrate excellence in their field, go above and beyond their duties, are committed to the community, and have made a significant impact on an individual, company or community.
Myunghee has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Delaware. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Delaware and Pennsylvania and frequently speaks on tax planning and tax reform at workshops.
Myunghee and her husband live in Aston PA with their daughter. They enjoy spending time at the beach.
