Luci is a manager in the Tax Department of Cover & Rossiter. Since joining the firm in 2011, she has used her keen attention to detail and problem solving ability to help clients navigate the ever-changing tax laws. While her focus is primarily on tax work (corporate, individual, and trust), Luci also enjoys helping lawyers understand the requirements of Rule 1.15 and provides pre-certification and consulting services in that area. In addition, she has taken on a leadership role in staff training and is involved in recruiting new employees to help keep Cover & Rossiter positioned for growth well into the future as a CPA and advisory firm.
Luci is a 2020 graduate of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Leadership Academy – one of only 30 CPAs in the country to earn this prestigious designation in 2020. The AICPA Leadership Academy was designed to strengthen and expand the leadership skills of promising young professionals while they network with a peer group of talented and motivated CPAs. Additionally, Luci is a member of AICPA and Wilmington Tax Group. She is actively involved with Toastmasters International, where she is a member and officer of a local club, CSC Incorporators Toastmasters Club. She was Club Secretary for 2017-18, Club President for 2018-19, and Immediate Past President July 2019 – June 2020.
She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware where she graduated at the top of her class in 2011 Summa Cum Laude in Accounting.
Away from the office, she can often be found at her local barn riding and caring for horses. She also enjoys taking backpacking trips on the Appalachian Trail and traveling with her husband.
