Cover & Rossiter Announces the Hiring of Three Staff Accountants from Three Regional Universities

Cover & Rossiter has a long standing history as one of Delaware’s first and most respected certified public accounting and advisory firms and is pleased to announce three staff accountants have joined the firm: Ambrose Cousin, Amy Swift, and Jackie Zhang each coming from a different university.

Cousin interned for Cover & Rossiter in 2016 and Marie Holliday, Managing Director, said “We so value having him return to become a staff accountant.” Cousin completed his Bachelors of Science in Accounting at Neumann University where he was on the Dean’s List every semester, an athlete and a student leader. Cousin, also will receive his Master of Accountancy from Villanova University in May 2017. Cousin has experience working with both a leading Pennsylvania nonprofit and a firm in the construction industry. He still enjoys pick-up basketball games when not working.

Swift recently completed her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from West Chester University, with Minors in Applied Ethics and Philosophy, having originally starting her education in Electrical Engineering at Widener University. She has extensive work experience in the legal field and with small businesses. She returned to complete her bachelors after these work experiences. When not working, she enjoys sharing good laughs & good food with her family and friends.

Zhang joins us from having recently completing both her Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Accounting from the University of Delaware. She has volunteered as a Tax Preparer an experience she says really helped to understand the complexities of the process first hand. Her work experience has included being on a startup team and working with small businesses. Volunteering is important to her and at the University of Delaware she especially valued working on the American Cancer Association’s Relay for Life.
