MARIE HOLLIDAY, CPA

Marie is a Director of Cover & Rossiter and head of the Corporate Tax practice. Since joining the firm in 1997 as a staff accountant, she has applied her extensive experience in tax research and corporate tax planning to assist many clients in addressing a wide variety of situations.  Marie focuses on finding tax-advantaged ways to operate companies during the various stages of the business cycle. 

Her diverse accounting history includes positions as a senior accountant at another local accounting firm, a staff accountant position with an accounting firm in Maine as well as operations manager at a nonprofit organization.

She earned her undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of Delaware.  While completing her MBA degree, she worked full-time.  In recognition of scholastic achievement she was selected for membership in the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society for the school of business.  In addition, she had been a guest lecturer on a variety of tax topics at the University's Academy of Lifelong Learning.

Her professional affiliations include membership in the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants, Newark Morning Rotary Club, and the Wilmington Tax Group.

Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and is actively involved in her children's swim team.  She enjoys reading and attending her husband's high school football games.
